Adele, I can’t Make You Love Me (Bonnie Raitt cover)
You know an artist has just become beyond big when her jam “Rolling In The Deep” has been covered by Glee, Linkin Park, John Legend, etc. You also know she has come a long long way since her stellar debut album “19” when your dad hears “Rolling On The Deep” on the radio and goes “That’s Adele right?” and proceeds to sing along. I will not admit if that is or is not my dad. Okay it totally is. He fucking loves Adele. But the point is this lady is jut a freaking talent who is now a household name. And when you are a household name you can cover The Cure and you can go toe to toe with Justin Vernon in covering Bonnie Raitt! Adele is a huge fan of the new Bon Iver album (who isn’t lol) and perhaps this is why she covered Bonnie too at the iTunes Fest in the UK. No matter what the reason, Adele does a brilliant job and just a warning just like Vernon’s take on Raitt, this too might just make you tear up. But it’s a glorious sob fest. Now what do I have to do to get Adele and Justin to duet!?
